■ A Night of Freedom, Art, and Human Dignity

In the heart of Seoul, the multipurpose hall of Seoul City Hall was illuminated by the light of film and art.
On October 18, 2025, the Seoul Hangang International Film Festival Awards Ceremony, held under the theme “Freedom, Democracy, and Justice,” became a grand stage that questioned once again the universal values of humanity and the essence of art.
Filmmakers, artists, and cultural enthusiasts from around the world gathered, and amidst the diversity of languages and perspectives, the message of “Unity in Diversity” resonated strongly.
The event was more than just an award ceremony — it was a living proof that art is the language that connects humanity.

■ Connection on the Red Carpet — A Performance of Global Harmony

On this day, the red carpet opened with a performance by the Global Model Team recommended by the International Federation of Culture and Arts (IFCA), led by Secretary-General Kwon Eun-joo.
Each model expressed the world’s diversity through their own language, culture, and movement.
The fusion of fashion performance and artistic direction created a dazzling harmony — like rays of different colors blending into one bright light — powerfully conveying the meaning of “unity through art.”
An event representative commented, “This year’s festival transcended artistic expression to become a platform for heartfelt global connection.”

■ K-Culture — Another Journey Toward the World

According to IFCA Secretary-General Kwon Eun-joo, the organization will also officially participate in the upcoming “K-POP Contest & Cultural Arts Exchange Event” scheduled for February 14, 2026, in Guam.
This upcoming project, combining K-POP, traditional Korean art, and global youth participation, is gaining attention as a global cultural initiative.
Kwon stated, “Art is not bound by borders — it is a language of the heart. The true power of Hallyu lies in warm, human-centered art that connects people.”
